This Aekino-controlled page gives the privacy information available for the friends launch.
Your choices
Aekino uses account, training, health and support information to provide the app. Privacy and sharing choices are available in Settings.

The AI coach
When you turn on AI Coaching and use the AI coach or our other AI features (meal-photo analysis, program import, exercise suggestions), we send what they need to the companies whose AI models do the work: Anthropic (Claude) and OpenAI. That means your messages to the coach and details such as your workouts, goals, the injuries or pain you have told it about, and the meals and meal photos you log. These companies process this information on Aekino's behalf, only to produce these results. Their terms do not allow them to use it to train their models. They normally delete it within 30 days, and keep it longer only if it is flagged for breaking their rules or the law requires it.
To make the coach better, we regularly review a sample of coach conversations and the answers people rated down. Before anyone reads them, names, places and contact details are removed. This review is done by Aekino, sometimes with help from the AI providers named above, and is used only to find and fix wrong or unhelpful answers.
These companies operate outside Quebec, including in the United States, so this information may be processed outside Quebec. We assessed this transfer before starting it.
AI Coaching is optional and off until you turn it on. You can turn it off at any time in Settings → Privacy Controls → Your Privacy Choices, and the coach stops sending your information.
